Mariah Carey's brother, Morgan, has expressed fears the recently separated singer might end up like Whitney Houston, who was found dead in her hotel rom after drowning in a bathtub, which investigations later said was a result of drugs OD
In an explosive interview with National Enquirer, Morgan gave an insight into the lifestyle of the multiple-award winning songstress.
In the interview, Morgan further claimed that Mariah, who is mother to four-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, has a drinking problem.
Confirming her struggles with alcohol, he said: "I can't say that I have ever been around her when she was sober, and that's very scary".
Warning that his sister will die "just like Whitney Houston", Morgan, who credits himself as being behind Mariah's rise to stardom, said: "If my sister turns up dead … I'm not going to look the other way!"
"Anyone who's filling her glass is jeopardizing her life!" he told the Enquirer.
Morgan also took shots at his sister's former husband, Nick Cannon, who she was married to for six years and bore him a set of twins.
He claims that the America's Got Talent Host married his sister for her money and that he "was never good for Mariah".
"Nick listened to people who said, 'Get with Mariah, she thinks you're cute, have kids and ride it to the bank'", he told The Enquirer.
"Nick was there for the cash from day one. He doesn't give a damn about Mariah.
"Nick took tremendous advantage of her and continues to do so".
