identified armed men suspected to be hired assassins have killed an officer of the Delta state Command of the Department for State Security Service (DSSS) in Asaba.
?African Examiner gathered that the said officer was shot dead while carrying out his official duty around Okpanam community in the state.
Immediately after the ungodly and wicked act, the unknown gunmen were said to have dashed into the thin air.
?Our Correspondent learnt that the DSSS officer’s killing, may not be unconnected with the last elections in the state, where he played some alleged inexplicable roles.
?The deceased, simply Identified as Joseph (surname with held) was said to have been trailed by his killers right from his location of his primary assignment until he was allegedly gunned down close to his residence at Opkanam community.
? Sources said the officer was instructed to step out from his car before they rained bullets on him.
