In a renewed Boko Haram onslaught in Damaturu, a lone suicide bomber, suspected to be ten years old, killed five people and injured several others at the popular Bayan Tasha market/ motor park today.
The blast occurred at about 11 a.m and according to eyewitnesses, left many dismembered human parts littering the scene. At least 27 people were wounded, many critically, as ambulances continued to bring in the injured.
